This guide helps worker organizations, strike committees, mutual aid groups, and labor supporters create a transparent treasury address that can receive funds through LaborCoin governance.
Worker organizations may create their own DAO treasury on Aragon and use that treasury address when requesting support from the LaborCoin DAO.
The organization should publish its DAO address, explain who controls it, and provide enough context for LaborCoin governance participants to evaluate the request.
Select a small group of trusted worker representatives who will manage the organization treasury.
Recommended starting point:
Do not use one person as the only treasury controller unless there is no practical alternative.
Each signer needs a Polygon-compatible wallet.
Simple method:
Never share recovery phrases in group chats, email, screenshots, cloud storage, or shared documents.
Open Aragon and create a new DAO for the organization.

A multisig DAO is recommended because it is simple, understandable, and avoids unnecessary token governance complexity for local worker organizations.
After the DAO is created, copy the DAO treasury address.
This address is the organization address that should be used when requesting funds from the LaborCoin DAO.
